The Friends of the Thompson House held a "Raise the Roof" luncheon on September 3, 2011. The luncheon was held at the Thompson House with the public being transported to the house via a hay ride. Lunch was served to about sixty people by FTH board members who were available to answer questions about the Thompson House and its importance to the residents of Trenton and Grundy County. Afternoon activities were topped off by a nice cooling rain.
